It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Ellen Josephine Mayo on July 26, 2020, at the age of 90 years. She passed away with family by her side.
Ellen immigrated from Ireland when only 22 years old. She married Keith Mayo who predeceased her in 1978 and has resided in Calahoo, AB since 1963.
Ellen is survived by three children, two daughters, Cathy Molloy and Patricia (Pat) Mayo; one son, Sean (Dalene) Mayo; four grandchildren, Clayton, Cassie, Jason (Jake) and Billie; and five great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to the staff of the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital and the staff of Capital Care Norwood Palliative Unit.
