It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Rene Pomerleau at the age of 77. He will be dearly missed by his wife Virginia, his daughter Gisele (Mark) and his granddaughters Natasha and Kendra; David (Tara) and his grandsons Dextin and Mason; Christopher (Marie-Eve) and his brothers Joffre, Paul, Alfred, Bernard and sisters Juliette, Simonne, Lorraine, Therese. He was predeceased by his mother Alice, father Armand, and two siblings Leonard and Carmen.
Rene was an accomplished business man and owned his own electrical business out of Morinville since 1975.
Due to Covid restrictions, an invitation only mass will be held at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Morinville, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rene’s memory may be made directly to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
