1937 - 2021
With great sadness the family of Bill Shaughnessy announce his passing at the age of 84 years in St. Albert, AB. He is dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Gladys of 62 years; son, William “Bill” Jr. (Sharon); daughters, Charlene (Michael), Cindy (Christian); eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous family members including his sisters, Patricia and Marilyn (Jack).
Bill was predeceased by son, Kelly; parents and six brothers.
Bill was a longstanding member of the Plumber and Pipefitters Union Local 488 for over 60 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling in his motorhome, fishing, boating on the Shuswap Lake, playing marbles and crib with his grandchildren, skidooing and spending time with his family. In the last years you could find him driving the condo complex on his motorized scooter. Bill will be missed forever.
