1943 - 2020
Paul Stang, loving dad, proud grand-pa, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17th, at the age of 77 after a brief battle with cancer.
Paul’s ever present smile will be forever missed by his daughters: Nicole and Rochelle and their families, including Nicole’s partner, Denis, her children, Charissa and Chloe and their dad, John; Rochelle’s children, Jaelle and Jaren and their dad, Oral; special friend, Shirley; numerous siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be reunited with his beloved wife, Denise; parents; five brothers; five sisters and numerous other family members and friends.
Paul embraced life and demonstrated his love for others in the multitude of ways he touched their lives. He was everyone’s cheerleader and loved to make people laugh. His hands were rarely still and he loved to build and help on projects. He also loved an adventure, and was always game to travel and try new things.
A Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at St. Albert Catholic Church, with mandatory masks and social distancing.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Albert Conference.
