Peacefully, on May 22, 2019 Terry passed away at the Royal Alex Hospital at the age of 70.
He will be remembered by his loving wife of 51 years Wendy; daughter Lee-Ann (Bill); son David; grandchildren Caitlin (Jessie), Scott, and McKenzie; great-grandchildren Zayd, and Paisley; brother Larry (Cheryl). Terry will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Terry was predeceased by his parents Norman and Betty Turner of Hamilton, Ontario; and sister Katherine (Dan).
Terry was born and raised in Hamilton, he joined the R.C.E.M.E. in 1966 and was posted to various places during his service before he left in 1977. Terry worked for C.N. Rail for over 30 years before retiring. During his retirement he was a shuttle driver at City Ford, he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his biker buddies (UN-NATO Veterans). Terry was a social butterfly, he had a contagious laugh, and his antics will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Monday June 3rd, 2019 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, with an interment and reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry’s name may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
The family would like to thank the staff and Dr. Stiller at the Royal Alex Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Terry.
