It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of dearest Olive. Wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and best friend.
With family by her side, Olive passed away in Fairview, Alberta on December 10, 2021 at the age of 86. We are comforted to know that she is now at peace and with God.
Olive is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 64 years, Gerry Tookey; her sister Evelyn (Gary) Wendt, sister-in-law Rae Hansen, 2 children, son, Darrell (Gail) Tookey, daughter, Norah Jean Cook and 5 grandchildren, Colan Tookey, Ryan (Brookelyn) Tookey, Braydan Tookey, Charlene (BJ) Schultz, Jordan Cook, 9 great-grandchildren and numberous nieces and nephews. Olive was predeceased by her parents Everard & Mary Hansen and her brother Wayne Hansen.
Being a long-time resident of St. Albert and very active in St. Albert United Church, a spring service will be held there. Date and time to be announced at a later date.
