Wally Cherniwchan

The family of Wally (Walter) Cherniwchan of St. Albert is saddened to announce his sudden passing on June 29, 2019. As a husband, father, gido, brother, friend, teacher, coach and “grandpaw”, he touched the lives of many. Wally will be truly missed by his family: his wife, Judy; his son, Jevan (Lauren); his granddaughter, Emi; his daughter, Tasha (Kelly); his grand-dogs, Axel and Ben; his brothers, David, Larry (Bonnie), Dennis (Wanda), and Rick (Wendy); his sisters, Jeanette (Ron), and Sonia; his brother-in-law, Gary (Joyce); his sister-in-law, Sharon (Stewart); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Bill; his mother. Mary; his sister, Natalka; and his niece, Kim. His family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at the Cross Cancer Institute for helping him in his battle with amyloidosis. As per Wally’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral.
