LETTER: COVID-19 is no longer a threat to customers at Walmart?

"No one following floor markers, or making sure everyone is social distancing. What gives at Walmart?"

Apparently, I did not get the message! The virus threat is over, the second wave is not happening! Customers and staff, however, were wearing masks, not all correctly (some below the nose), though.

Two days ago, I had dropped into Walmart in St. Albert for the first time in a month and things were much different! No separate in and out entrance requirements any more, all shopping carts were stored in their parking lot bins. No hand sanitizer station near the entrances, no wiping down of the carts for customer use, only one lonely bottle of sanitizer provided in the main shopping aisle. No one following floor markers, or making sure everyone is social distancing.

What gives at Walmart?

Myron Sanderson, St. Albert
