First, Jason Kenney said he would not discipline MLAs who travelled out of the country. He acknowledged their decisions were dumb but it was all his fault. Integrity and character weren't a consideration.
He hoped that the "Nothing to see here. Move along" would fool the voters.
Then his decision was swept aside as voters disagreed with his judgment. MLAs started to resign or were demoted. Their own behaviours had consequences.
Now the next shoe needs to fall. Mr Kenney, why wait for the next election to receive your consequences for your bad judgment, that also showed poor leadership? Take your medicine and take a demotion.
