LETTER: Too many opinions, too little action

"As a evolving society, we are expected to be more proactively involved. I saw a photo of Albertans of 100+ years ago. All of the people were wearing face masks. What happened to that logic?"

There are just too many people (myself included, I guess) that think they have every right to foist their opinion on society as long as they are satisfied that their needs are being met.

For instance Doug Ford, Jason Kenney and pretty well every health care provider in Canada has been neutered by all the rights groups that have the gall to call out decisions based on reality as unfair.

It's about time these premiers stood up to these self-righteous groups and drew a line in the sand. I'm pretty sure that if and when this pandemic comes to an end, a lot of the populace will most likely castigate the powers that were in charge during the war on COVID-19 because they just didn't do enough to protect the people that elected them.

As a evolving society, we are expected to be more proactively involved. I saw a photo of Albertans of 100+ years ago. All of the people were wearing face masks. What happened to that logic?
