From it's new team to a drive-thru service station, the dealership continues to offer a top-tier experience.

“We’re having fun and it’s been great,” said Joe Cherfan, service manager of St. Albert Honda.

Cherfan started at the dealership around six months ago, leading a team of brand new staff in the service department. He joins the business with 38 years of experience under his belt, previously working as a service manager at a different dealership in Edmonton.

When it comes to joining St. Albert Honda, Cherfan said his beliefs lined up with the leadership of the company.

“Ross and Keith really thrive on making sure the customers are happy,” he said of the dealership's owner and General Manager.

While directing a brand-new team may be rocky at first, Cherfan said the group has a dynamic range of personalities that mesh well together.

“They’re great to customers,” he said. “They’re very friendly and the most dynamic thing about them is that everybody loves them and that’s just awesome.”

The mechanics at the dealership, on the other hand, have worked at St. Albert Honda for over 40 years.

Along with a new team, the dealership has introduced positive changes to its service department.

The dealership has drive-thru services, something customers will appreciate during the winter months. Instead of standing in the cold waiting for their vehicles to be fixed, people can sit in a comfortable waiting room.

“For a scheduled oil change service we will get you in and out within one hour and fifteen minutes with a washed vehicle, thanks to our Honda trained technicians and the automated wash bay,” he explained.

In announcing its new services, St. Albert Honda is offering six months of free tire storage of any purchase of a full set of tires, saving the customer $99.

Those who have visited the dealership recently might have noticed upscale treatment doesn’t stop at employee interactions. The dealership was recently noticed for its uniquely designed top-tier restroom.

St. Albert Honda Best BathroomCintas Canada Ltd. honoured St. Albert Honda with a national award for its hands-free auto-themed washrooms.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be the winner of the 2018 Canada’s Best Restroom contest,” said Ross Hodgins, owner of St. Albert Honda.

The washroom was modeled in the dealerships colours with an accent wall that represents revolutions per minute (RPM) meter in a vehicle. The bathroom has touchless faucets, soap dispensers, hand dryers and towel dispensers. It also features automatic air fresheners and deluxe baby changing stations.

To make it an entirely hands-free experience, a ‘stepNpull’ door allows the customer to open the door with their foot instead of their hand.

This past summer St. Albert Honda celebrated another successful year of hosting St. Albert’s Rock’n August. The success of this years Rockin' August event helped push our votes for the 2018 Canada's best Bathroom by having over 300 people attend the BBQ.
