The repeal of Bill 6 is disturbing to our farm family.
Some farmers we know of care more for their machinery and livestock than their employees. There are two provinces without the same rights and protections for farm workers as other industries. Farming is a dangerous occupation. No wonder there is a shortage of farm workers.
We have Worker's Compensation. If someone helps us for a day, they are covered if there is an injury.
