Regarding Ludo Bogaert's letter ("A cat story with a different meow," Sept. 21 Gazette):
Do people who let their cats out to wander around think they are not causing any other issues besides wrecking people's gardens, and being a menace to the neighbourhood?
On Wednesday, Sept. 18, we had rubber paving applied to our driveway. This was not a cheap project. After the paving company had finished, they took and sent pictures to us.
It looked amazing. We were excited to see our new driveway, only to discover a loose cat had walked on it.
We were furious.
Please think of this situation when you let your cat out.
Yes! The city needs to look into this.
