Conversion therapy decision good but discussion reflected intolerance

While I strongly agree with and support St. Albert City Council's decision to outlaw "conversion therapy" with a bylaw, I cannot help be somewhat befuddled by the decision makers.

City council members were expressing "shock" that some speakers at the bylaw hearings were in favour of the practice.

This just shows the intolerance of the political left and brainwashing LGBTQ, progressive, and liberal media forces/special interest groups. They are far more intolerant of those with differing opinions than their own on the matter.

I for one am actually a conservative, but I still believe in getting rid of the conversion therapy practices. However I am not tolerated as a human being or commentator as I don't identify as progressive/liberal/socialist or on the left wing of the aisle.

I believe in what St. Albert City Council did in their meeting on this matter strongly. But as a champion of the democratic process, I also believe in giving exactly equal time to those people and forces who oppose this set of measures.
