For those of you watching the Conservative leadership race I can understand your feeling of deep concern as you see the campaign of celebrity personality Kevin O’Leary dominate headlines. Canadians are already tired of celebrity politicians like Justin Trudeau and Kevin O’Leary who bring no substance to the table.
If you are looking for a real leader who can inspire Canadians, look no further than Erin O’Toole. A former business lawyer and Royal Canadian Naval Aviator, Erin O’Toole served with distinction as Canada’s minister of veterans affairs. As a veteran himself he set out to fix a department that had become one of the previous government’s most contentious files and in his short time succeeded in improving outcomes for veterans.
This is the kind of leader Canadians need to take on Justin Trudeau in 2019, not another celebrity. I encourage those of you who are Conservative members to support Erin O’Toole and those of you who are not, please buy a membership and help ensure this good man and public servant becomes the next Conservative leader and Prime Minister of Canada.
