Everyone needs a reminder to be courteous

Thank you Andy Michaelson for your gentle reminder that sometimes the liberal use of certain "colourful" phrases and terminology just doesn't make a difference to anyone except oneself.

I appreciate your statement that your wife's more "generally acceptable" phrasing conveys the essence of an "experla-tribe" in a much more subtle way —much like the difference when at weddings, the men and boys joke about "another good one gone", while the women just cry. It is much more subtle, too.

Thank you, too, for asking that people pay attention — to their driving, to their behaviour, to their language — and treat others with courtesy and consideration.

I would like to be around if you were to find it necessary to "come over and tell you exactly what I think of you." Trust me; it's not just you ...
