There are rumours among my friends that the city is planning on moving the bus station at Village Landing to Campbell Park and replacing it with a fire station.
The bus station is already in place and is surrounded by condos and a shopping centre. It services all of St. Albert, including Campbell Park.
We have a fire hall just down the hill on Sir Winston Churchill Drive.
To my knowledge, there is no fire hall in Campbell Park. I think city hall should save our money and leave the bus station where it is and build a fire hall in Campbell Park, perhaps where they plan on the bus station.
