I am surprised – shocked, actually – that St. Albert is only the first provincial jurisdiction to ban conversion therapy. Kudos to Councillor Natalie Joly and the rest of her colleagues for taking this stand.
Still, I find it reprehensible that right-minded people everywhere would not have long ago dismissed this practice for the hurtful, demagogic outrage that it is.
