My spiritual rebirth

Our lord who lives in heaven, how do you remember my name So many smiling faces, don’t we all just look the same

Our lord who lives in heaven, how do you remember my name

So many smiling faces, don’t we all just look the same

But our thoughts are all so different and in our hearts we show

The way we think about you, is how that you may know

I am one of your followers and still have much to learn

And how I keep my faith, may cause you grave concern

I know you are so patient and your love is guiding me

To yet another destination in my spiritual eternity

If I remember you in my prayers, as my reason to live

And the presence of your love, as my reason to forgive

Will you remember me, for the good things I will do

Then graciously forgive me, for the things that make you blue

I’m excited to get to heaven, if you’ll allow me to be there

I’ll spend more time on praying, for my departure to prepare

I’ve given up my life to You and hope I’ve proved my worth

So when you come to get me, that’ll be my spiritual rebirth
