Oh give me a home

In thinking of the unrest in the world, I came up with a different version of "Home on the Range" for your letters section
letter-sta
Oh give me a home where there’s places to roam
Where the skies are not cloudy all day
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And it’s OK to have something to say

Where, where in the world
Is this place that I can call home
Where we’re all at our best, when we’re put to the test
And can have opinions all of our own

Last night we were there, all in the square
Hoping that someone would hear
When a leader came out, to try hear us out
And everyone gave out a cheer

But he was not in the mood, to hear us all brood
And ordered us all to disperse
A shot fired out which gave little doubt
That the end of our life might be near

Oh where, where is this home
Where I can be safe all alone
Where we’re all at our best, when we’re put to the test
And can have opinions all of our own
