Proroguing Parliament distinctly un-Canadian

I am writing to you Brent Rathgeber to formally request that you ignore Stephen Harper's intention to prorogue Parliament.

I am writing to you Brent Rathgeber to formally request that you ignore Stephen Harper's intention to prorogue Parliament. As an employee of the Canadian taxpayer, I expect you to show respect for democracy and attend Parliament and represent our constituency in a professional and respectful manner.

I urge you and the Conservative Party of Canada to stop your flagrant disregard for democratic principles and remind you that you are a minority government who has been elected to make Parliament work in the best interests of all parties and all Canadians. Proroguing Parliament for a second time is self-serving and greatly damages Canada's faith in our Parliamentary system.

Your party must stop playing games and acting in a dictatorial and distinctly 'un-Canadian' manner. Canadians and your constituents deserve your respect and duty to represent them in the manner to which you were elected.

Regardless of Harper's intentions, I expect you to show up for work and represent the interests of your constituents. To ignore our interests will be at your own peril.

I look forward to your response and public account for your party's actions.
