To say St. Albert's recycle program is a failure is an understatement. My blue bag was tagged with the big orange sticker, early, before the trucks came by.
The city told me we now have pre inspectors during the summer. I would like to know how many thousands of gallons of gas are being burned to pick up newsprint and flattened cardboard boxes.
Now we can add half-tons to the mix, doing pre inspections.
Add together the blue bag truck, the garbage truck, the green bin truck and now pick-ups. No environmental concerns here whatsoever.
Just our tax dollars going into the St. Albert abyss.
