I have had an annual membership at Servus Place since it opened in 2006 and use the exercise/pool facilities almost every day.
I and many others wish the pool would open a half-hour sooner each day but that is another subject.
I am writing today because the roof has been leaking for at least two years: whenever it rains, pails suddenly appear to catch the drips, us end users walk around the pails for the next few days.
This morning was a near catastrophe as some 40 pails were scattered around the track, in the fitness area, in the open foyer, with whole areas roped off.
C'mon man, this roof needs to be repaired/fixed. I am writing to ask the city to manage and take better care of a wonderful asset.
I personally envision a scene from The Shawshank Redemption, with all the photo radar boys taking a week off from raising cash for the city to volunteer to go up top to tar the roof of Servus Place.
