On Monday, July 8, we were driving on Boudreau Rd. NW at 5 p.m. before turning onto Hebert Rd., and noticed a young lady walking along the roadside green picking up garbage and debris.
When we returned an hour and a half later, we noticed this same young lady, now on Hebert, and still with her yellow bag noticibly fuller. She wore no vest to identify her as a participant of a drive. This young woman seems to have made a personal choice to help beautify our city.
I wish I knew her name but hopefully she will read this and know that we noticed and appreciate her obvious concern and caring for our city as she enjoyed a late afternoon walk with her ear buds and music.
Perhaps we should all take a “yellow bag” along on our walks, not for your dog but for the beauty of our city!
