St. Albert Place parking problems persist

I find myself wondering if the city knows that the lot across from St. Albert Place is full most days by 9 a.m.? We all know that city employees have their own designated lot (old RCMP lot) and are not to park in the lot across from city hall.

I find myself wondering if the city knows that the lot across from St. Albert Place is full most days by 9 a.m.? We all know that city employees have their own designated lot (old RCMP lot) and are not to park in the lot across from city hall.

Who parks in this lot? I work in a building on the other side of this lot and notice that between 8 and 9 a.m., most of the unrestricted parking is taken up by individuals that all walk to city hall and their vehicles are in the lot all day?

When employees/visitors of other businesses like myself come to park in this lot it’s full and we end up parking in the two-hour restricted zone.

Now we have noticed that bylaw is marking tires and enforcing restrictions. Is bylaw going to re-inforce the policy with regards to city employees not parking in this lot as well? Maybe employees of the city should be required to give their licence plate information to the city so we actually know they are parking where designated?
