I was very disappointed in Gary Harving's letter that depicts Akinsdale residents as selfish and egocentric. He obviously misses the point and fails to understand the need for strong community planning.

If St. Albert is to develop as a strong, beautiful community, we must distribute low cost housing equitably and protect our green areas. The Protestant school board does not have the right to change the current design.

The proposal is not beneficial to St. Albert as a whole and should be rejected.
