Thankful for what I have

letter-sta

Minus 36 C and I was very grateful to be in my warm house, furnace on, lights and TV on, hot coffee in hand. Thankful for all the workers in the oil and gas production and refining, and coal and electrical generation and distribution industry for my power.

Thankful that I have a tank full of gas in my car just in case I need to go out for anything.

Thankful for all the farmers that have to work outside every day through this extreme cold.

Thankful for our police, fire, paramedic emergency services working outside to keep us safe.

Thankful for all the City employees that keep our City running in this extreme cold.

Grateful for EVERY ONE that has to work outside in this extreme cold. I have been there, done that and it's NO fun.

Also thinking about all the people working out at the airport (-50 C windchill) loading luggage, de-icing, and refuelling planes (with jet fuel thanks to our oil industry) so some fortunate people can fly away from this darn cold to warmer vacations.
