Having followed the Arlington Drive debate with great interest, I was not at all surprised to see some of the comments in Wednesday’s Gazette from opponents of the project.

Monday's council meeting was a bitter disappointment to the citizens of Akinsdale.

Sunday, May 16 was the day of the annual Clean Up the Sturgeon activity. It was a beautiful day and a successful clean up. About 350 people participated, picking up trash and litter all along the banks of the Sturgeon.

Alberta Health Services may be poor in health and in dire need of resuscitation but the staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital are rich in love, care and compassion.

As a young adult growing up in the small community of St. Albert I have been lucky enough to witness the generous workings of our community members.

This Friday I will be stopping by the local florist. I will be getting flowers for the servers at the St. Albert restaurants that have provided me with exemplary service, as always.
