I would like to express my thank you to Mr. Nolan Crouse, former St. Albert mayor, for his commentary written about artificial intelligence (AI) of the role they might play in the truth of journalism’s future. Excellently written and very appreciative that this has been brought to our attention. We must be mindful of how we interpret media news, social posts- whether they present full details, whether they are true or make believe Our world is all technology — and it is advanced so hugely that even those who have this technology —sometimes have a complicated time to obtain what they need. An example of media news about the Alberta Pension Plan advertised – promoted a good plan — everyone will get more money. These are only highlights. What happens to the CPP that we all paid into, the senior benefit program? How is the premier going to assess what each one may receive? More info has to be given in fullness — to be fair to each citizen.
