LETTER: East still has too much power in federal elections

"What makes it outrageous is that six years ago Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised to change this."
letter-sta

This year’s federal election will be soon. What is outrageous is that, by the time Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut’s polls have closed, the eastern part of Canada has most of their votes counted. And our votes just beginning to get counted.

What makes it outrageous is that six years ago Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised to change this. But still we have not seen this. Even now he just hopes that we forget about that. Please help us change this and make our votes count.

Cole Nicholson, 9, St. Albert
