This letter is a huge thank you to all the wonderful staff of the Citadel, the firefighters, the City of St. Albert, our transit, volunteers – everyone
involved in saving the lives of hundreds of our precious seniors last on the night of May 6.
Thank you to all the complete strangers and especially three teenage boys who, without a thought for their own safety, jumped in to help get old people out of a burning building. My 93-year-old mother-in-law was one of those people and we are forever grateful for the people of this community. St. Albert and St. Albertans, you are the best.
