I'd just like to say it’s nice to see the streets cleared of snow, but St. Albert did it all wrong.
The city should have put it in a windrow and got it shipped out with trucks. Instead, St. Albert put it on each side of the residents' driveways, causing flooding on the sidewalk, and then it freezes overnight, causing very dangerous walking conditions.
I am just concerned for people, especially the elderly, out walking. I find it considerably dangerous. I try to keep sidewalks as clear as possible, but the conditions are not good, especially with the mid-winter thaw. Hopefully, something can be done.
