Thank you to John Farlinger and Bruce McPherson for their paid advertisement on page 9 of the Aug. 11 Gazette regarding the Municipal Energy Corporation.
Their due diligence on behalf of the taxpayers of the city is greatly appreciated, I am sure, by the silent majority of citizens.
The disturbing aspect regarding this matter is that citizens have done this due diligence rather than our elected council and paid administration.
The upcoming municipal election may solve this unexplained incompetence.
