Election season and as soon as signs go up, they are vandalized. It's typically the NDP signs that get knocked over or defaced while other signs are standing untouched nearby. I don't believe it's official campaign volunteers that do this. It's random people who aren't motivated enough to work on a campaign but carry a vendetta against the reminder that many people want a better society that lifts up rather than pushing back against change. I think their actions backfire because they reveal that the kind of people who don't want progressive government are the kind of people who roam wild breaking things. They haven't got real arguments so they resort to disrespect. Every broken sign is more proof that we need MLA's with positive ideals. People who are committed to building a better Alberta for all of us.
