Kaasa Gallery

Shaping Alberta is a juried group exhibit that shares 10 Alberta artists' visual perspective on life and creativity. It reminds us how significant our environment/personal landscape is to us all and what we see and do every day shapes us personally. It also shapes our communities and our cultural identity. It’s a partnership between CARFAC Alberta and the Friends of the Alberta Jubilee Auditoria Society. The exhibit features St. Albert artists Jennifer Conneely and David Scott, along with Ilse Anysas-Salkauskas, Kelly Boreson-Charland, Norman Burnham White, Margriet Hogue, Debbie.lee Miszaniec, Tatianna O'Donnell, Sherry Richardson, and Rene Thibault. Alcove Gallery

YEG Canvas

The new rotation of artworks is now on display for the Edmonton Arts Council’s third-annual public art project. Look for new works on various billboard and LRT poster locations throughout the capital city.

VASA presents its Merry Masquerade fundraiser from 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, December 5 during the opening reception for the All Members' Show. The event will feature a silent auction, door prizes, a cash bar, and a photo booth, plus Lewis Lavoie will be live painting with the work being auctioned off that night. An assortment of masks will be available for purchase at the door. Fancy dresses and suits are not mandatory but encouraged. Samantha Williams-Chapelsky has a new exhibition of works based on the Southern United States. Southwest Explorations takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30 at The Creative Hive,16819 111 Ave. in Edmonton.
