Graduating Grade 12 students at Bellerose Composite High School in St. Albert got a festive send-off on June 11 as the school celebrated their graduation with a day-long event.
It wasn't your typical Grade 12 grad. Teachers handed out caps and gowns in the school's gymnasium. Grads slipped into their robes and joined hundreds of their peers in walking outside to the applause of their teachers.
Outside, messages of support and well-wishes written by students decorated the front lawn of the school.
Graduates got their photo taken, before grabbing some wood-fired pizza and gift bags.
