I’m about eight months old and I’m a collie-shepherd cross. I’m a sweet little girl who, for some silly reason, was unclaimed at the pound. I can be a timid and shy girl in new situations, but once I’m comfortable, I’m as happy as a clam.
I enjoy lots of attention from my two-legged friends and I will look to them to give me good guidance. I’m eager to learn, but I’m uncertain at times, so my forever parent or parents should have patience. As an entertaining bonus, I have this adorable way of puffing up my top lips in a submissive grin sort of way, which is very cute, if I do say so. I would do great in a home with another well-adjusted, confident dog as a companion. Small children may be a bit too much for me, but older, dog-savvy children would be great.

I’m Dorian and I’m a lovely cream-coloured male tabby cat and I’m about one year old … just a baby. I came into the care of the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP) through the Beaumont pound with my sister, Avril. She found her loving forever home so I must be next, don’t you think?
I’m a wonderfully sweet, affectionate and very curious kitty who loves to snuggle, purr and play. I’m an outgoing fellow but very gentle and often silly … perhaps even an entertainer.
I think I would be fine in a home with other friendly pets. I’m looking for an indoor-only home where any time spent outside will be strictly supervised … it’s scary out there for my kind and I don’t want to end up lost on the streets again.
