Hi there, my name is Roo and I’m a two-year-old female collie-Lab cross with a beautiful black coat. I’m a gentle dog who loves people of all ages and sizes. I love to be handled, bathed or brushed. I’m house and kennel trained and after a period of adjustment, I will be fine in a new home. I love attention so much that I’d love to have someone with me most of the time, so someone who works from home or who could take me to work would be a great situation for me. However, I’m getting much better with time on my own! I would be best in a home without cats because I find them a little too interesting! Roo’s NASAP adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming and a post adoption health check-up. Please go online to www.nasap.ca and click on the ‘adopt me’ link underneath my picture. Or you can call the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP) at 780-922-0250 and leave a voicemail.

Matt is an approximately two-year-old long-haired male who was so badly matted (hence his name) when he was admitted at the pound it was painful for him to move so he laid very quietly in the back of his kennel. Once NASAP got all of his mats trimmed off he felt much better and his true personality is now coming out in his foster home. He was quite timid when first moved to his foster home but he now comes running for attention and cuddles as soon as he sees his foster dad. Once his coat grows back out he is going to be a beautiful boy. His coat will require regular brushing (or periodic lion shaves) to keep it in good shape. He has now been neutered and is available for adoption. Matt is very affectionate and gentle but due to his more timid nature he will likely do best in a quieter home without young children and other pets that can be overbearing. Please go online to www.nasap.ca and click on the ‘adopt me’ link underneath Matt’s picture. Or you can call the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP) at 780-922-0250 and leave a voicemail.
