Advance voting starts Thursday in St. Albert

Advance voting gets underway tomorrow in St. Albert’s municipal election. Advance voting will be held in the East Boardroom at St. Albert Place Oct.10, 12, 15, 17 and 19. The East Boardroom is on the third floor. On Oct.

Advance voting gets underway tomorrow in St. Albert’s municipal election.

Advance voting will be held in the East Boardroom at St. Albert Place Oct.10, 12, 15, 17 and 19. The East Boardroom is on the third floor.

On Oct. 10, 15 and 17, voting runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Oct. 12 and 19, voting runs from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Institutional voting will be offered to eligible St. Albert electors residing in the following long-term care facilities: Oct. 15 at Chateau Mission Court and Youville Home, Oct. 16 at Ironwood Estates and North Ridge Lodge/Place, Oct. 17 at Foyer Lacombe and River Ridge and Oct. 18 at Citadel Care Centre and Rosedale Seniors Living.

St. Albert voters who are residing at the Sturgeon Community Hospital on Oct. 21, election day, can vote at the hospital that day.

New this year for the municipal election is a requirement to provide acceptable identification when heading to the polls.
