New owners, same dishes

Jade Village Restaurant and Pub has new owners.

Located at #480, 140 St. Albert Rd., the Chinese restaurant now belongs to co-owners Jennifer Belcourt and Trevor Belcourt.

In a post on Facebook, Jennifer said she’s dreamt of owning the restaurant for more than 15 years. Those who love the food need not worry, as the business is keeping the same chefs and recipes.

“I am truly on cloud nine!! We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this possible!” she posted.

The pub has also undergone renovations, modernized and updated with four new television sets.

The restaurant is open Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
