Eager voters can cast their ballots in the municipal byelection starting on Monday.

An advance poll will be available at St. Albert Centre (not St. Albert Place) on June 15, June 17 and June 20.

The hours for each day of advance voting will be between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Polling stations have been established for the June 24 vote to fill the vacant councillor chair.

Depending on your voting subdivision, poll locations include St. Albert Centre, Kinsmen Korral, the Salvation Army, St. Albert Alliance Church, King of Kings Lutheran Church and Servus Place.

The polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 24.

Chamber to host forum

The St. Albert and District Chamber of Commerce is set to host a byelection candidates forum on June 16.

The forum starts at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m., at the St. Albert Inn and Suites.

Eight candidates are vying for the opportunity to sit on council. There is only one spot available.

Attendees can submit written questions that will be posed to the candidates by moderators.
