City of St. Albert closing front counter facilities

Front counter services that will be closed include Planning and Development, the St. Albert Place first floor office, the community services front counter, Beaudry Place (excluding the St. Albert Food Bank) and Liggett Place.

The City of St. Albert is closing its front counter facilities as of Friday.

Starting at 8 a.m. March 20 all of the front counter facilities at the city will be closed and online services will available for residents.

Front counter services that will be closed include Planning and Development, the St. Albert Place first floor office, the community services front counter, Beaudry Place (excluding the St. Albert Food Bank) and Liggett Place.

Occupied home inspections will be suspended through April 1 or until it is deemed safe for both homeowners and employees.

Planning and Development on the second floor

Planning and Development have updated their online service to encourage electronic application submittals and discourage paper submittals. Please use the following links to submit the appropriate applications:

St. Albert Place first floor office

Utilities, Business Licensing, Dog Licences and Tax payments can all be made using MyCity. If you need instructions on how to register, call the main switchboard at 780-459-1500.

Community Services Front Counter

The sale of bus passes has been suspended but they are still being made available online. The city asks that residents check with local community merchants that are still making them available.

Information on culture and recreational programming made available at St. Albert Place will continue to be made available by phone, text and email.

Beaudry Place

AISH and All Aboard bus passes for people with low incomes will be mailed to current recipients for April use. For more information, call 780-459-1600.

ESS Services, Income Tax Support, Subsidy Support and Counselling Support will not be available in person but all attempts are being made to work with residents via text, phone and email. For more information, please call the main switchboard at 780-459-1500 and your call will be redirected.

The city notes the Food Bank will remain open.
