Edmonton’s Daffodil Gallery is a place for art lovers but Missy will certainly be the centre of attention this weekend. The dog has been up for adoption for a long time through Zoe’s Animal Rescue Society and people are getting creative to offer a new way of bringing her to the public for a little poochy promotion.

She has been searching for a forever home for three years after having previously been abandoned by another rescue operation.

People can pay her a visit this Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and check out the amazing art on display at the same time. Missy will be joined by Joann, her current foster caregiver.

The Daffodil is located at The Daffodil Gallery at 10412 124th St. in Edmonton. More information about the organization can be found at www.zoesanimalrescue.org.

Zoe’s is also a semi-finalist in the current Aviva Community Fund contest with $1 million up for grabs. Voting is conducted online. Last day to vote is today.
