'Coward' sucker-punches man near St. Albert Trail

On Saturday, August 24, my son was at the corner of Perron and St. Anne waiting to turn right towards St. Albert Trail.

“You” were behind him in a black lifted Chevy pick-up truck with blue lettering on the licence plate.

“You” got frustrated because he wasn't moving fast enough for you on one of the busiest streets in St. Albert on a typical farmers’ market afternoon.

“You,” being a coward, got out of your truck and walked up and sucker punched my son through his open window, breaking his glasses and cutting and bruising his eye. Then “you” got back in your truck and took off.

My three-year-old grandson was in that truck, terrified, crying and screaming about his hurt dad. How dare you!

Of course you had no way of knowing what a horrible few days these people had had, and how your cowardly act was the last thing this tiny little boy needed to see.

“You” were too busy beating your chest and terrifying people who “weren’t moving fast enough” for you and your big truck.

A big heartfelt thank you to the people who rushed over to help calm my grandson and son. You are the true heroes in this.
