The St. Albert Crime Stoppers Association is asking for your assistance in solving the following crimes:
Stolen fireplace
Overnight, between 6 p.m. on Friday, March 4 and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, someone entered a home under construction at Eastbrick Place and stole a $3,000 fireplace. The suspect(s) entered the residence through a basement window, cut the exhaust vent to the fireplace and left the house through the back door.
Broken window
On Friday, March 4 at about 9:15 p.m., a window was broken at the Grandin Park Plaza, located on Sir Winston Churchill Ave. The manager of the mall reported the crime but did not have any suspects at the time.
Break-in at pub
On Saturday, Feb. 26, at about 4:20 a.m., St. Albert RCMP received a report that a side door at Friday's Pub, located on Carnegie Drive, had been smashed in. It appeared that person(s) unknown had smashed the door, entered the pub and then left without taking anything. It is suspected that the suspects may have been interrupted during this break-in as they did not remove any property from the pub. A white or light-coloured pickup was seen on security video near the pub at the time of the break-in.
