The St. Albert Crime Stoppers Association is asking for your assistance in solving the following crimes:

Mischief in Mission

On Sunday, Aug. 11, .at about 1 a.m., a group of people went to a construction site on Mission Ave. where they started up a packer and a water truck that were parked on the construction site. They were moving the equipment around on the site and while the equipment does not appear damaged, the potential for injuries or equipment damage was high.

Hit and run

On Aug. 1, the St. Albert RCMP received a complaint that a public transit bench on Deerbourne Cres., just northeast of the intersection with Deer Ridge Drive, had been significantly damaged. Due to the extent and nature of the damage, investigators believe that a motor vehicle may have collided with the bench.

Theft of cellphone

On Thursday, July 25, at approximately 2 p.m., two male adults attended the Future Shop store located on St. Albert Trail. Inside the store, the two suspects stole a demo cellphone from the display. The suspects are both believed to be in their mid 30s, are Caucasian with short, dark hair. The two male suspects left the store parking lot in a white Buick Rendevous.

Break-ins, attempted break-ins

On Saturday, July 13, at approximately 4 a.m., person(s) unknown broke into The Cash Store and Popeye's store located on St. Albert Trail. Entry was gained through the roof of the strip mall and both stores sustained some damage. On the same night, person(s) unknown attempted to pry open the back door of the InstaLoans business located on Hebert Road which is across the street from The Cash Store and Popeye's. Entry was not gained to this business. To date, St. Albert RCMP have not located the person(s) responsible for these attempted break-ins.

Bank fraud

On March 12, St. Albert RCMP received a complaint from the Canadian Western Bank regarding a male, depicted in the photo, who had opened a bank account using fraudulent cheques and identity. After completing several fraudulent transactions, the male closed the account and the bank lost over $31,000. St. Albert RCMP need your help to identify this individual.
