The Seniors United Now St. Albert group is hosting a speed-dating style forum with candidates at Cornerstone Hall on April 27 at 1:30 p.m., to discuss seniors' issues and other topics.

The St. Albert Public Library is hosting a meet the candidates event at Forsyth Hall in the library on April 27 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be presentations and a question and answer session. The library is asking people to reserve their spot either online at www.sapl.ca or by calling 780-459-1682.

Advance polls, St. Albert

Election Day is Tuesday, May 5.

Residents are eligible to vote if they live within the electoral division and

• are 18 years of age or older on voting day,

• are a Canadian citizen, and

• have been a resident of Alberta for the six months preceding voting day.

Advance voting dates in St. Albert are Wednesday, April 29; Thursday, April 30; Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2. Advance voting times on these days are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
