A young St. Albert mother who went missing on Saturday night has now been found, RCMP confirm.
On Tuesday afternoon RCMP put out a call for the public's assistance in locating Paige Denise Piercey. She made contact with her family several hours later.
Piercey, 23, went out for the evening with friends on May 17 around 6 p.m. and was due home the next morning. When Piercey did not arrive home, her mother became concerned and reported the matter to police as it was out of character for her daughter.
Piercey is now back at home in St. Albert.
“It’s always good news when we can send one release out and another one right after,” said Const. Yelena Avoine with St. Albert RCMP.
