RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate a 25-year-old St. Albert man.

Colin Darren Wilflingsider left his home in the Mission neighbourhood to go snowmobiling with friends on Dec. 17.

He was driving a white 1999 Ford Explorer SUV with Alberta licence plate BMZ2064.

Wilflingsider is described as Caucasian, has brown hair, blue eyes, is approximately five-feet six-inches tall and 130 lbs.

It is unclear if Wilflingsider was heading to the Red Deer area or to the area north of Edmonton to join his friends.

He talked to a family member briefly on Dec. 20 and said he would be home the following day, says Dave Hashey, Wilflingsider’s brother-in-law.

Family members and friends have been trying to call and contact him through social media, but there has been no contact with him since then.

The family is quite upset, says Hashey.

“He sets a date to come home and he’s usually home within a day of that. Or he calls so everybody knows where he is or how he’s doing. It’s not like him to up and disappear,” he says.

Family members are plastering the neighbourhood, grocery stores, liquor stores and bus stops with his picture.

The RCMP would like to speak with Wilflingsider face-to-face at the nearest RCMP or police detachment to confirm his well-being.

If anyone knows of Wilflingsider’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact the St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700.
