RCMP found cash, drugs, a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition during a motor vehicle search in Sturgeon County on Friday.
On Jan. 24, Morinville RCMP and CFB Edmonton Military Police worked together to stop a suspicious vehicle on Highway 28 in Sturgeon County.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 98 tablets of what is believed to be ecstasy, 86 grams of crack cocaine, 46 grams of soft cocaine, 59 grams of what is believed to be crystal meth, as well as drug paraphernalia. Officers also found $3,600 in cash, a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition.
Two individuals have been charged with several drugs and weapons offences. Their names have not yet been released.
